We are hiring a Helsinki, Turku or Tampere based People Lead. Your main responsibility is to act as a line manager for Gofore’s Data and AI team.

You will act as a line manager for Gofore’s data and AI experts (20 people), taking care of their well-being in their everyday work life. In this role, you help our current experts in matters related to their employment. You also participate in growing the team by taking part in recruiting and onboarding new joiners to the team.

The other part of your role depends on your expertise and interests: responsibilities include, for example, client consulting projects or participating in sales and tender work.

What we expect from you

You may have gained experience in, for example, the role of a technical consultant or project manager. Previous experience in line management work is also helpful in the role: you understand how effective teams work and you are ready to contribute to the development of your own team.

The role of People Lead does not include technical work supervision, but being “in the scene” is necessary in order to be credible at work, to offer sufficient support for people’s development and to help experts with their problems and project choices. Therefor we value good know-how and expertise in modern data technologies and AI methods. We also expect you to have an interest in delving further into the world of data and AI, so that you, as a People Lead, can best support our experts in their everyday work.

By nature, you are energetic and an enabler with a can-do attitude. As an organization, we strive to be transparent, low-key and non-hierarchical, so you get to do a lot of things yourself the way you want. 

Fluent Finnish language skills are beneficial, both spoken and written. Even though our company language is English, in many of our client consulting projects Finnish is required.
