We are looking for technical information security consultants to join our growing cyber security team to work on diverse customer projects.
Our cyber security journey began strongly and now we’re building for the future. In the last two years, we have managed to establish and greatly grow our operations. Our core team already includes many experts in technical and administrative information security, and we have several large customer projects underway. In this position, you get to ensure the digital resilience of many public administration, critical infrastructure and private sector organisations.
Your typical tasks at our customer projects include, for example, performing technical audits, penetration testing (white, black and gray box), assisting developers in information security-critical matters (e.g. authentication, encryption) as well as reading the code and evaluating the application architecture from an information security perspective. In addition, we are professionals of DevSecOps and cloud security (Azure, AWS), so your duties may be related to these topics as well.
Together we build truly meaningful and impactful services that affect the lives of everyone in Finland. Some examples of our clients include: Aimo Park, Labkotec, Cardiff University, Digital and Population Data Services Agency, VR, Valtra.
What we expect from you
In order for you to succeed in your work, you have:
- Several years of experience in tasks related to technical information security, for example as a software developer/architect or technical auditor.
- Experience in technical audits or penetration testing
- Good Linux skills
- Uderstanding of cloud technologies and the various components of the application (platforms, databases, interfaces, etc.)
- Since the job also includes reading code, programming skills are very helpful
- Ability to work independently and good interaction skills, as you work in cooperation with customers and other colleagues
Seen as advantage:
- Information security related certificates OSCP, OSWE, OSWA CISSP, etc.
- Basic understanding of information security from a broader organizational perspective, e.g. management of information security risks and threats, requirements information security related legislation, guidelines and requirement frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, PiTuKri, Julkri, Katakri)
- Being active e.g. in contributing open source projects, writing blog posts or participating in CTF competitions as a coplementary way to build your expertise
Please note that due to the nature of our customer projects, we require our applicants to be EU citizens and fluent in both Finnish and English. The chosen applicant may also be required to undergo security clearance by the Finnish Security Intelligence Service as required by the client.

Salary development: For us it is important that Goforeans receive reasonable total compensation for their work.
