AWS Expert, join Gofore to support our cloud story as an Lead Expert!
We are looking for a new AWS Lead Expert for Gofore to support the development of our AWS capability. In a supporting role with your vision and expertise we can influence the course of Gofore’s cloud journey together.
Your role as an AWS Lead Expert
Gofore’s AWS cloud experts team consists of about 25 experienced cloud specialists and architects who work independently on various customer projects. Your task in the team is to stay at the forefront of AWS development and support other team members with your technical expertise and insights.
Additionally, you will participate in growing our cloud story and business by being an important part of the (pre-)sales and recruitment processes. You will be surrounded by professionals from the core cloud team who will help you succeed in your role. The previous Lead Expert will also offer their support to ensure your success.
The Lead Expert tasks will take up to 50% of your working time. The remaining time will be spent working as a consultant on customer projects. The role does not include managerial responsibilities.
What we Expect
Being successful in this role requires several years of experience working on AWS cloud projects as an experienced cloud specialist or architect. We expect that through your experience, you have gained insights that will be valuable in both internal development tasks and customer work. Experience in taking part in business operations and supporting the cloud community is considered an advantage, but the most important thing is a passion for learning new things, a desire to develop, and a willingness to help others succeed. Additionally, we hope for the following from you:
- A desire to act as a technical leader and thought leader for Gofore’s AWS cloud experts team, sales, and other internal stakeholders, as well as for Gofore’s customers.
- As a person, you make things happen and want to help others succeed.
- A desire to work in pre-sales and support sales to support business development.
- From a technical perspective, you have strong experience with AWS public cloud services and their use in supporting software development infrastructure and automation.
- You understand different types of cloud service models and deployment architectures.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools and implementations.
- Experience with DevOps operating models and CI/CD technologies.
- Fluent communication in both Finnish and English.

In the role of Lead Expert, in addition to your base salary, you will receive a monthly bonus tied to Gofore’s financial success. Other possible bonuses may be related to achieving certifications, recruitment, sales, or increasing Gofore’s visibility.
