We are looking for an experienced technical information security expert to take care of our growing team and join our client projects!

In this role, you will serve as a team leader (or people leader as we say) for Gofore’s technical information security consultants and as a Lead Technical Information Security Consultant in our client projects. Although this role is business-driven, we believe that the best business outcome is achieved by taking care of people. You will support your team in matters related to employment and professional development. You will also contribute to the growth of our cybersecurity community by participating in recruitment and onboarding new team members.

As a Lead Technical Information Security Consultant, you will consult our clients across a variety of projects in sectors like public administration, critical infrastructure, and intelligent industry. Additionally, your responsibilities may include participating in presales, proposal work, and service development. Our client projects vary widely, from web security testing to red teaming, advanced cyber threat intelligence, consulting secure software development, and holistic improvement of our clients’ information security.

What we expect from you

You are an experienced technical information security professional. You may have experrience, for example, in offensive security, secure software development and DevSecOps, security architecture, or you have specialized knowledge in OT/IoT or cloud security. You have an energetic and proactive approach, and you are an enabler who gets things done. As an organization, we strive to be transparent and flat in hierarchy, allowing you to work in a way that best suits you. You stay actively updated on the ever-evolving cybersecurity field and share your expertise with others.

We hope you have:

  • Broad expertise and several years of experience in technical information security. Previous IT/software development experience is considered an advantage.
  • Ability to act as the lead consultant, taking full responsibility for project success.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to lead by example.
  • Prior experience as a team lead is an advantage.
  • Preferably you have already some relevant certifications, such as OSCP, OSWE, OSWA, OSEP, GWAPT, OSCE, CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, or similar.

Please note that due to the nature of our customer projects, we require our applicants to be EU citizens and fluent in both Finnish and English. The chosen applicant may also be required to undergo security clearance by the Finnish Security Intelligence Service as required by the client.

Salary development: In this role, your monthly salary will be approximately 5700–6300€, plus a monthly bonus based on the company’s growth and profitability.

In addition to the monthly salary, we have separate bonuses linked with the company’s success. Bonuses can be related to, for example, recruitment, sales or actions advancing Gofore’s employer brand.
