We are looking for an Experienced Embedded Software Developer for our client project. We solve problems from the product design stage, throughout development, to the end of the product lifecycle. You can work on projects involving intelligent machines, energy, production, telecom, or health and wellbeing technologies. Our client base consists of organisations such as AGCO, The BMW Group and Bosch.

We expect

  • We hope you have experience (8+ years) in embedded technologies (C / C++ programming, hardware interfaces, and Real-Time Operating Systems) or Qt / QML development or embedded Linux/Yocto Linux customization 
  • You have experience in either software architecture design, programming, or testing of embedded systems
  • It is a big plus if you are familiar with unit and integration testing
  • You master agile software development methods
  • You are an open and positive person with a strong desire to learn something new
  • Helping customers to solve technical problems through a friendly approach and good interaction skills
  • You are willing to visit the client’s premises regularly
  • You communicate fluently in English
  • We want to find you a role that supports your talents and interests

For now, we are hiring directly for projects. This means that we have an ongoing recruitment but before making an offer, we’ll aim to match you with your first project, based on what we have discussed with you during the recruitment process. We believe that this improves the employee experience, as we are able to provide a project right after your start at Gofore.

Salary development
For us it is important that Goforeans receive reasonable total compensation for their work. The compensation is the outcome of, not only experience and skills, but also active work for our two values: being a good workplace for everyone and considering customer perspective in everything we do. The feedback that you receive, your utilisation rate (we are consultants, after all!) and your own professional development are central in the salary discussions with your People Leader (i.e. supervisor). We have different salary models, and in addition to the monthly salary, we have separate bonuses linked with the company’s success. Bonuses can be related to, for example, recruitment, sales or actions advancing Gofore’s employer brand.
