As a consultant, you will work on our customers’ ICT infrastructure and cloud projects. The tasks are related to the modernization of the services, the description and planning of the technical architecture of the services, the procurement, implementation and development of the services. The projects broadly cover anything related to our customers’ infrastructure environments, from cloud service infrastructure to on-premise data centers, data traffic, management of servers and workstation services, end-user services and service transitions from one service provider to another. You work closely in the customer interface and in the customer’s organization as a consultant, responsible for the implementation of customer projects and the management of service providers. The projects are very versatile and vary in duration. Since our customers mostly operate in the capital region, we hope that you will be willing to travel if necessary. What we expect from youYou have previous experience of working in ICT infrastructure projects or leading infrastructure projects for a few years, for example as an architect, consultant or project or service manager, and a good general understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP). You may have worked in a company’s information management, IT service provider or another company focused on consulting. All in all, with your experience in the IT industry, you will be positioned among experienced experts. To be successful in the job, you also need knowledge of the most common service management processes such as ITIL. You speak and write Finnish fluently, and thanks to good communication skills, you get along well with customers and project-related stakeholders. You are creative in your working methods and you are able to independently produce high-quality material for our customers. You purposefully strive towards a solution and dare to tackle problems. We look to your advantage if you have architecture and information security expertise and certified technology or project expertise.
The development of professional expertise is important to us, and you can pick what you find the most interesting from weekly tech presentations, guild activities, or course training. The feedback that you receive, your utilisation rate (we are consultants, after all!) and your own professional development are central in the salary discussions with your People Leader (i.e. supervisor).
We have different salary models, and in addition to the monthly salary, we have separate bonuses linked with the company’s success. Bonuses can be related to, for example, recruitment, sales or actions advancing Gofore’s employer brand.
