Gofore Plc has decided on a new share-based employment contract signing bonus in Finland
The Board of Directors of Gofore Plc has decided on a new, trial-based employment contract signing bonus. This means that new employees are given company shares with a value of EUR 1,500 as employment contract signing bonus. With the bonus, new employees are immediately counted among the owners of the company.
“Employees come first at Gofore. We want to offer the new employees a profound first introduction to the company and a concrete experience of being on the same boat. 70% of our employees are already Gofore shareholders, and now we offer this opportunity for new employees to become shareholders directly,” says CEO Timur Kärki.
Shares are offered during the period between 15 February and 30 June, 2018, for the first 50 new employees with permanent employment agreement. The bonus is intended for such persons provided that the person has signed the employment contract during the aforementioned period and that their employment is valid at the time the shares are delivered and that they have not resigned. The campaign applies only to Finland and to those employment contracts directly tied to the parent company.
Shares are taxable income for the recipients and the company’s average share price during the aforementioned period determines the total number of shares. The shares to be divested are either new shares or acquired from the marketplace to the name of the recipient. All shares will be handed over simultaneously in autumn 2018.
