Significant agreement for Gofore with Sofigate and the City of Vantaa
The City of Vantaa has selected Sofigate, a business technology specialist, as a developer and service provider of IT integrator services for several areas of its ICT services. Gofore participated in the competitive bidding and will be a partner and subcontractor of Sofigate. There is an agreement between the companies that the contracted work will be divided in half. The City of Vantaa tendered for resource management alongside tactical and operational management for ICT services.
The request for tender included the following areas:
- Services maintenance
- Business transfer
- Operations development
- ICT development and project management
- Service management
- Strategic and administrative development according to the Lean EA development model
- Procurement and supplier cooperation.
The agreement also covers information management services in the social and health care sector. The total value of the five-year contract is EUR 28 million without information services in the social and health care sector. In addition, expert services for ICT development and service production are available as options.
The City Council of Vantaa made the decision on 20 May 2019. The formal procurement decision will be taken after the minutes of the City Council meeting have been reviewed.
