Gofore Human Rights Policy

Gofore Plc. and its subsidiaries (”Gofore”) are committed to conducting all of their business in a manner that respects and promotes internationally recognized human rights. Gofore strives to ensure that its business practices do not contribute to human rights abuses and aims to foster a safe, inclusive, and fair environment for all its employees and partners.

1. Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this human rights policy (”Policy”) is to outline Gofore’s commitment to respecting human rights across all of its operations. This policy applies to the entire Gofore Group, including all subsidiaries, employees, suppliers, contractors, business partners and, to the extent that Gofore has the ability to influence their use, end users of Gofore’s products.

2. Foundations and Guiding Principles

Gofore is committed to respecting internationally recognized human rights in accordance with the following frameworks:

  • The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights
  • The International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Core Labour Standards
  • The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs)
  • The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact
  • OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises

3. Commitments

3.1 Labor Rights

Gofore does not tolerate any form of forced labour, child labour, or human trafficking. Gofore firmly supports the freedom of association and upholds the right to collective bargaining. Furthermore, Gofore is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and non-discriminatory working environment for all its employees.

3.2 Non-Discrimination and Diversity

Gofore is committed to treating all employees, partners, and stakeholders fairly and with respect, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic. Furthermore, Gofore actively promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout all its operations.

3.3 Fair Compensation

Gofore is committed to paying its employees fair wages that reflect their work and skills, and strives to ensure that workers throughout its value chain also receive fair compensation.

3.4 Supply Chain and Business Partners

Gofore expects its suppliers and partners to uphold the same human rights standards set forth in this Policy. When necessary, Gofore carries out human rights due diligence and risk assessments throughout its value chain to ensure compliance and address potential risks.

4. Practices and Oversight

Gofore conducts regular risk assessments to identify, prevent, and mitigate potential human rights impacts. To support this, Gofore provides training to its employees to raise awareness of human rights and their responsibilities. Additionally, Gofore maintains a confidential whistleblower channel that enables individuals to report concerns or violations without fear of retaliation.

4.1 Human Rights Due Diligence

Gofore implements ongoing human rights due diligence in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. This includes identifying, assessing, preventing, mitigating, and accounting for potential and actual human rights impacts across our operations and value chains.

Key elements include:

  • Mapping and assessing human rights risks
  • Integrating findings into decision-making and business operations
  • Tracking performance and effectiveness of actions
  • Transparent reporting to stakeholders

Gofore prioritizes actions based on the severity and likelihood of potential harm, not only business risks.

5. Reporting and Management

The Board of Directors of Gofore Plc. approves this Policy and any significant non-compliance with this Policy will be brought to the attention of the management.

You may report any suspected human rights violations confidentially and, if you wish, anonymously through our whistleblowing channel at https://gofore.com/en/whistleblowing-channel/.
