We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer enhanced by AI to join meaningful and diverse customer projects.

At Gofore, you’ll work on projects that genuinely impact the everyday lives and well-being of hundreds of thousands of people in Finland. You could join initiatives in healthcare, early childhood education, or transportation. We also serve private sector clients, such as in industry, where we help digitalize product lifecycles and integrate production and information technologies.

Currently, we hire directly into projects. This means we run continuous recruitment, but before making an offer, we aim to match you with your first project based on our discussions during the recruitment process. In addition to customer projects, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to internal initiatives that support the adoption of new tools across Gofore.

In this role, you will

• Build solutions with modern technologies that have real societal impact.

• Work autonomously as part of an agile team in close collaboration with clients.

• Grow professionally and influence the direction of your projects and your own work.

We expect you to have

• At least 10 years of diverse experience in software development.

• At least 3 years of experience in AI development and AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot and Cursor.

• At least 5 years of experience with backend technologies and languages such as Java & Spring Boot and TypeScript & Node.js. Python experience is a plus.

• At least 5 years of experience with frontend technologies like React and TypeScript.

• At least 3 years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server.

• At least 3 years of experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms and DevOps practices.

• Strong consulting skills and experience working in client projects, with a customer-oriented mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with experts from various fields.

• Willingness to work onsite at the client’s premises (Helsinki) when requested.

• Excellent command of Finnish and English.

• Experience in Gofore’s core sectors: digital society (public sector, retail and services, health and well-being, security) or smart industry (machinery, equipment, and manufacturing).

We also value:

• Experience in developing and delivering training sessions, presentations, and workshops.

• Experience in supporting sales activities.

A security clearance may be required depending on the customer project.

Salary

At Gofore, we value fair compensation. Your salary will reflect your experience and skills while aligning with our commitment to being a great workplace and ensuring client-centricity. Typical salaries for this role range from €4500-6500 per month, with further opportunities for performance-based incentives.
