We are now looking for a Service Owner, Test Automation & AI Testing to shape how intelligent, AI-driven quality engineering is designed, productised, and delivered across our expanded organisation.

With the recent launch of Gofore Testing Genius, our AI-driven cloud service for scalable automated testing, we are accelerating our move into intelligent and autonomous testing. 

As our Test Automation & AI Testing Service Owner, you will be responsible for developing the offering, supporting sales, guiding delivery excellence, and shaping the evolution of our test automation and AI-enabled testing capabilities across Gofore x Huld.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Service Development – Evolve and productise the offering 

Modern testing evolves rapidly, and our customers expect scalable, future-proof solutions. As Service Owner, you will: 

• Drive the development of new test automation, generative AI, and machine-learning-based testing solutions. 

• Maintain and evolve the Test Automation & AI Testing service portfolio, including service descriptions, pricing models, delivery models, service architectures, whitepapers, and customer references. 

• Benchmark technology and market trends to ensure strong market fit, differentiation, and competitiveness. 

2. Sales Enablement – Support opportunity shaping and growth 

Our Business Areas rely on strong solution expertise to win complex deals. In this role, you will: 

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Business Areas, and Account Leads to identify customer needs and shape solutions. 

• Support presales with solution proposals, scoping, risk identification, and commercial modelling. 

• Help position Gofore’s Testing Genius and other AI-driven testing concepts in customer discussions and tenders. 

• Provide insight for marketing, account-based campaigns, and content creation. 

3. Customer Consulting – Hands-on leadership in key engagements 

Service Owners stay close to delivery to ensure our offering works in real customer environments. In this role, you will: 

• Act as Lead Consultant for selected strategic customer cases, but no more than 50% of working time. 

• Conduct test automation and AI testing assessments, maturity reviews, and development roadmaps. 

• Support the ramp-up of new test automation engagements or lead strategic automation initiatives. 

• Guide customers in adopting next-generation AI-driven testing practices. 

4. Capability Development – Strengthen the talent pool 

Our competitive strength comes from our people and their evolving skills. As Service Owner, you will: 

• Drive competency development in test automation, AI testing, agentic testing, and emerging toolchains. 

• Share best practices, frameworks, patterns, and recommended tooling across teams. 

• Play a key role in recruiting automation and AI testing specialists. 

• Support continuous learning and professional growth within the QA capability. 

5. Community & People Leadership – Foster growth and collaboration 

A modern testing community thrives on learning, coaching, and shared practices. In this role, you will: 

• Depending on your profile, act as People Lead for selected senior test automation and AI testing Lead experts. 

• Support lead experts and communities of practice to strengthen modern testing capabilities. 

• Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and innovation within the test automation & AI testing community. 

• Promote collaboration, psychological safety, and knowledge sharing. 

6. Collaboration & Strategic Alignment – Integrate testing across Gofore’s services 

Testing is essential to Gofore’s end-to-end digital delivery. In this role, you will: 

• Work with Business Areas and Account Leads to align test automation and AI testing solutions with customer needs in Intelligent Industry, Defence & Space, and Digital Society. 

• Collaborate closely with other Service Areas – including Software Development, Cloud, DevOps, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, and Embedded – to ensure testing is seamlessly integrated into delivery models and combined offerings. 

• Strengthen consistency and scalability of testing practices across Gofore’s cross-functional teams, ensuring that approaches support modern engineering, cloud-native development, and AI-enabled workflows. 

What you bring 

Test Automation & AI testing Service Owner will benefit from having the following competencies: 

• Strong understanding of test automation and AI-driven testing market, including key tools, emerging technologies and industry trends 

• 5+ years experience designing and implementing test automation concepts and frameworks across multiple customer environments, preferably for agile Digital services, enterprise IT systems and embedded solutions 

• Practical experience or strong interests in AI-enhanced and agentic testing frameworks 

• Preferably experience of performance testing. 

• Proven ability to work in a solution-oriented and consultative role, including participation in service offering development, solution proposals, and customer presales 

• Customer-oriented mindset and readiness to adapt to the needs of customer projects, including where and how you work 

• Passion for enabling high-quality customer experience 

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and people leadership skills 

• Interest and understanding in business development in general 

• Fluency in Finnish and English

Salary development 
 

For us it is important that Goforeans receive reasonable total compensation for their work. The compensation is the outcome of, not only experience and skills, but also active work for our two values: being a good workplace for everyone and considering customer perspective in everything we do. We have different salary models, and in addition to the monthly salary, we have separate bonuses linked with the company’s success. Bonuses can be related to, for example, recruitment, sales or actions advancing Gofore’s employer brand. In this position, your basic monthly salary is approximately 6000–7000€.
