We are looking for a Service Manager to join our team, responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience and keeping our customers’ digital solutions thriving.

Our Continuity Services team takes care of the support, maintenance, and further development of applications and cloud services for dozens of customers. We serve both public and private sector clients, whose solutions range from large-scale systems to more focused services. In our diverse and dynamic environment, you’ll have the opportunity to grow and make an impact.

As a Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for service delivery throughout its lifecycle—from onboarding or handover to modernization and further development. You’ll be the customer’s main point of contact: a reliable partner who ensures that services are delivered with high quality, meeting agreed goals and requirements. In our projects, you’ll build and strengthen close relationships with customers and other partners.

In your daily work, you’ll actively monitor discussions and progress, coordinate substitutions and resources, and support your team in prioritization and smooth collaboration when needed. You’ll also be responsible for development of services, and in smaller projects, you may act as the project manager for development work. You’ll prepare reports for regular maintenance meetings and take care of the financial side of the service through billing and profitability monitoring, ensuring the service operates sustainably and in balance for both the customer and the team.

Your role may also include supporting sales and tasks related to continuous improvement. Depending on your skills and interests, you can also take on additional responsibilities.

What we expect from you

  • At least 4 years of experience in IT service management in a responsible role

  • At least 3 years of experience leading a service or project team

  • Experience with IT service management best practices (such as ITIL) and working according to service level agreements

  • Experience working in a multi-vendor environment

  • Understanding of the business of continuous services and an interest in working in this field

  • Ability to work independently and systematically, advancing matters with a goal-oriented and solution-focused approach

  • Proven customer-centric working style and strong communication skills

  • Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English

Salary development

At Gofore, it’s important to us that work is fairly compensated. Your salary is influenced not only by your experience and skills but also by two of our values: actively working to make Gofore a great workplace for everyone and considering the customer perspective in everything we do. The starting monthly salary for this position is €4,300–4,700. In addition, Gofore offers various bonuses based on the company’s success, for example, related to recruitment, sales, or increasing Gofore’s recognition.
