Strategic partnership helps shape the best tractor experience on the market

Farm machines of the future are independent, efficient and eco-friendly. Nordic industry giant Valtra is developing world-class tractors and revolutionizing the field of mobile machines together with Gofore.

Valtra tractors are known for their reliability, versatility and durability, and are sold in over 75 countries worldwide. ”Valtra and Gofore have been collaborating since 2014. During our partnership we have seen a massive change in the control and interface solutions of farm machines. The growing number of graphical interfaces places a strong emphasis on user experience. Driving the machines has become easier, and IoT solutions have introduced a data-driven approach to maintenance,” Gofore’s Director of Industrial Digitalisation Harri Laukkanen illustrates.

Gofore and Valtra work in close collaboration to reach shared goals, and their division of work is flexible. Gofore’s experts work regularly on-site to review their solutions with Valtra’s machines. If need be, they are always ready to jump behind the wheel of a tractor.

“We do not distinguish between Gofore employees and our own in our everyday work. Tasks are shared equally, and everybody follows the shared principles of agile development. Anticipatory resource planning makes working together easier for both parties,” Pekka Huuskonen says.
