Embedded software development

We deliver mission-critical control systems for satellite platforms, as well as scientific data processing solutions for atmospheric sounding and imaging projects. At the core are safety-critical, thoroughly tested and validated software systems designed to operate reliably for years under the harsh conditions of space.

Tools for data processing and instrument quality

We specialise in specific stages and tools of data product development, transforming raw data from satellite instruments into outputs tailored to the customer’s needs.

Independent Software Verification and Validation (ISVV)

We help organisations ensure that software products developed by subcontractors meet the required quality standards. ISVV (Independent Software Verification and Validation) is one of our core areas of expertise. We have carried out independent verification and validation for numerous satellite software systems.

New Space

New Space actors, both in Finland and internationally, are seeking expertise particularly in software functionality and quality assurance. Our extensive experience with the operating models of the European Space Agency (ESA), combined with strong technological know-how, provides us with the capability to participate in a wide range of space projects. Defence systems utilising space technologies

Our core competence in combining space technology with defence systems lies in software and systems engineering for various defence applications; in developing data fusion and algorithms for test systems and measurement instruments; in data analytics for identification sensors; and in machine-learning-assisted situational awareness and targeting, including navigation capabilities independent of satellite systems.

We have been involved in defence industry projects since 2007, and our company holds a Facility Security Clearance (FSC).

Space mechanics

We provide innovative mechanical design solutions by utilising a range of advanced techniques, including additive manufacturing. This enables us to rapidly produce components where increased complexity does not raise costs, structural rigidity can be maximised, and energy and material consumption kept to a minimum. It also opens the door to entirely new types of solutions, such as integrated sensors.
