Press release 1.11.2022
The Finnish Information Security Cluster (FISC), which develops cybersecurity and information security know-how, expanded with new expertise as the board of the association accepted Gofore Oyj as a member on 13 October 2022.
The Finnish Information Security Cluster (FISC) – Kyberala ry, a domestic cluster of the cyber security industry, is a guardian and networking platform for cyber and information security organizations founded in 2012. The organization’s goal is to build a safe digital Finland.
“From Gofore’s point of view, this is an important milestone. Especially in the current world political situation, we see the operation of FISC’s network as a key influencing channel for building a safer and more ethical digital society,” says Markus Asikainen, head of Gofore’s Cyber Security business.
The cluster’s membership consists of nationally significant Finnish companies and organizations offering information and cyber security products and services. The goal is to increase and internationalize the business and to promote the large-scale utilization of cyber security expertise in society.
“As members of the network, we can contribute to the spread of cyber security know-how. At the same time, our own know-how of the ever-developing cyber market increases. FISC membership offers us new business opportunities both domestically and internationally. In my opinion, FISC offers an excellent platform for creating new cooperation models with companies and authorities in the field”, Asikainen says.
