Cooperation between Gofore and Traffic Management Finland Oy continues in the development of future transport – Gofore was selected as a framework supplier for traffic management ICT consulting
Traffic Management Finland Oy has chosen Gofore as a supplier of technical ICT consulting services for traffic management for five years including options. The estimated total value of the framework agreement for the whole duration (2019-2024), excluding VAT, is EUR 17 500 000, and a total of four suppliers are involved.
The framework agreement is focused on expert services in the field of traffic management and control (road, rail, sea and aviation). The arrangement covers consulting services for the definition, development, further development and maintenance of various information systems, as well as for ensuring quality and information security.

“Gofore has previously acted as a framework contract supplier for the Finnish Transport Agency’s traffic control projects. At the turn of the year, Finnish Transport Agency’s traffic management operations were placed in the newly formed subsidiaries of Traffic Management Finland Oy, each transportation mode forming its own company. Therefore, this agreement is a continuation of the work already done on digitalisation of traffic control. Gofore has had a strong role in traffic management in digital road and rail transport projects. Through this framework agreement, Gofore’s role as a digitalisation partner in the public sector will be further strengthened”, says Mikko Lehto, Business Manager, responsible for Traffic business area at Gofore.
Contracts between the suppliers and the subscriber will be signed no earlier than two weeks after the procurement decision.
