What we expect from you

You have experience working in security-classified environments within defence or public sector projects.

At least 5 years of full-stack experience with technologies such as Java & Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET/C#, TypeScript, React, Vue, or Angular. Your role in projects may have focused more on either backend or frontend development, but we are looking for someone who also has the ability and willingness to work across both when needed.

Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server).

Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms and knowledge of DevOps practices are considered an advantage.

Experience with AI-assisted and agentic software development is also considered an advantage.

You have experience working with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, and of working as part of a cross-functional team.

You have strong consulting and interaction skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly with different stakeholders.

Experience in requirements management and requirements definition as part of project work is considered an advantage.

Willingness to work at the customer’s premises when requested. Project work often also requires working in secure facilities and regular on-site work at the office.

Excellent Finnish language skills are essential for succeeding in this consulting role.
A personal security clearance may be conducted for the selected candidate if required by the customer project.

Salary development
At Gofore, it is important that work is fairly compensated. Salary is influenced not only by experience and skills, but also by two of our core values: contributing actively to making Gofore a great workplace for everyone, and keeping the customer perspective at the heart of everything we do. In salary discussions with your manager, key elements include the feedback you receive, your billing rate (we are consultants, after all!), and your professional development.
Typically, the salary level for this role ranges between 4500-6000 EUR per month. In addition to the fixed salary, we offer bonuses based on your monthly billing. We will define the appropriate salary level as discussions progress and we learn more about your expertise.
