Our agile cloud team is looking for Azure architects to join our customer projects!
There are already around 50 experts working on the public cloud at Gofore, a company that builds truly meaningful services that affect the lives of hundreds of thousands of Finns. You can get involved in the development or renewal work of demanding public services and socially significant projects. Our customer projects are usually long-term and you typically get to focus on one project at a time. You can familiarize yourself with our work as cloud experts in KEHA and Aimo Park’s customer projects.
What we expect from you
We hope you have a strong background in Azure public cloud services and understand the different types of cloud service models and deployment architectures. You have worked on several Azure development projects and have insight into both application development and cloud platform management. You also have an understanding of the best practices of cloud data security.
We expect you to have a general understanding of cloud architecture, and the ability to act systematically. In addition, you have strong expertise in some of the cloud architecture areas listed below:
- Knowledge of Azure’s IaaS, PaaS, or FaaS services
- Experience with container technologies and orchestration
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD technologies
- Familiarity with serverless solutions
- You are familiar with WAF and CAF (Azure Well-Architected Framework and Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework)
- Understanding of Landing Zone principles and Infra as Code utilization
- Experience with Azure data platform technologies and Azure information security
- Experience with Azure hybrid environments, Hub & Spoke architecture and centralized services
- You are familiar with governance, Azure management structures and policies
- Ability to work in cooperation with both customers and other stakeholders
We do not require a strong knowledge of all the cloud architecture areas listed above.
Our company language is English, but many of our client projects require fluent Finnish.

Salary development
For us it is important that Goforeans receive reasonable total compensation for their work. The compensation is the outcome of, not only experience and skills, but also active work for our two values: being a good workplace for everyone and considering customer perspective in everything we do. The feedback that you receive, your utilisation rate (we are consultants, after all!) and your own professional development are central in the salary discussions with your People Leader (i.e. supervisor). We have different salary models, and in addition to the monthly salary, we have separate bonuses linked with the company’s success. Bonuses can be related to, for example, recruitment, sales or actions advancing Gofore’s employer brand.
