We are now looking for practical, detail-oriented, and motivated Financial Controller in our Financial Controlling and Treasury team, responsible for accounting, financial controlling & local reporting to either in Helsinki or Tampere.

As a Financial Controller, you will play an important role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting of our local entities. Your responsibilities will include participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes as part of the Group reporting process. You will also play important role in integrating our latest M&A acquisition, Huld-group, into Gofore’s financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for local GAAP (FAS) accounting for multiple Gofore companies in NetSuite ERP including month/quarter/annual closing.

• Contribute to day-to-day financial operations.

• Supporting the annual statutory audits.

• Support group structure changes and M&A integrations.

• Prepare and coordinate statutory statistics and oversee tax reporting for the respective companies.

• Prepare and manage Business Finland and similar project reports.

What we are looking for

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in financial controlling, audit, finance or accounting.

• Solid knowledge of FAS accounting principles and Finnish taxation.

• Good accounting software user skills – Oracle NetSuite ERP and Kasperi experience are seen as an advantage.

• Detail-oriented, accurate, and systematic in your work.

• Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

• Strong team player with good collaboration skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Fluent Finnish and English.
