We are now looking for Senior Financial Controller in our Financial Controlling and Treasury team, responsible for Accounting, Consolidation & Reporting to either in Helsinki or Tampere.

In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring quality in Gofore Group’s IFRS and CSRD reporting and enhancing overall financial reporting process. You will be driving continuous development in our financial and sustainability reporting processes and infrastructure to support the needs of a listed company environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Group consolidation and reporting: participating in monthly, interim and annual group reporting activities, as well as preparation of quarterly and annual external financial reports.

• Ensure correct and IFRS and CSRD compliant financial reporting.

• Perform accounting assessments of new business models, significant transactions and other judgment matters.

• Assess the impact of new accounting and CSRD standards and implement them.

• Take business ownership of the consolidation system (CCH Tagetik) and drive the development of reporting processes and tools.

• Partner with our local external accountant firms to align processes, reporting standards and provide guidance.

• Support strategic initiatives, including acquisitions and complex transactions from a financial reporting and group controlling perspective.

What we are looking for

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in an international, ideally stock-listed, company

• Advanced knowledge of application of IFRS standards and good grasp of CSRD framework.

• Solid experience in group consolidation across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

• Solid system acumen – confident with IT systems and advanced Excel skills.

• Previous experience of CCH Tagetik and Oracle NetSuite is an advantage.

• Can-do attitude and development mindset, with a strong interest to learn new skills.

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Excellent spoken and written skills in English and Finnish.
