Your Impact

You support the business-side Product Owner in a complex IT initiative in the public sector and independently take on delegated Product Owner responsibilities.

You contribute to systematically maximizing the product’s value by translating business requirements into actionable and prioritized backlog items.

Together with the Product Owner, you develop a clear and understandable product goal and ensure it is communicated transparently.

You create and refine product backlog items, prioritize them in a structured way, and ensure they are clearly understood by all stakeholders.

You ensure transparency regarding progress, dependencies, and business decisions — even within complex stakeholder environments.

You operate confidently in regulated and politically influenced environments and support transparent, well-documented decision-making.

You ensure that delegated responsibilities are delivered on time and with the agreed level of quality.

You live and promote agile values in day-to-day collaboration — particularly transparency, close alignment, and a trusting partnership with both the client and the delivery team.
Your Skills
-
Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a comparable role with functional responsibility in IT projects.

Experience in the public sector or in projects within public administration is a strong plus.

A valid Product Owner certification (e.g., PSPO, CSPO, or comparable).

Solid practical experience with scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or similar approaches.

Experience in structured product backlog management and prioritization.

Ability to formulate complex business requirements in a clear, precise, and actionable way.
-
Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in complex organizational structures.

Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
-
A structured and transparent way of working with a strong commitment to quality.

You are fluent in both German and English.

Salary development
At Gofore, fair, transparent, and respectful compensation is a core part of our culture. Your annual gross salary is determined not only by your experience and skills but also by the value you contribute to our shared success. For this position, your potential full-time salary is outlined as follows. The exact classification will be defined in a fair and transparent dialogue with you:

Germany: The salary range for the fixed annual gross salary is €64,200 to €76,200.
In addition to the fixed salary, you participate in Gofore’s financial success through our Flex Model. At 100% target achievement, you receive a bonus of 8% of your fixed salary – with above-average performance, up to 12% is possible.
This means that at 100% target achievement, the total salary range for this position shifts to:

Germany: €69,336 – €82,296
