Within the Data & AI team, you’ll be exposed not only to data-related topics but also to projects involving artificial intelligence and machine learning. Right now, our community is looking for an enthusiastic and pioneering data professional – a Data Engineer!
We’re looking for an end-to-end Data Engineer: someone who can work across the entire pipeline, including architecture design, development of data storage and management solutions, and close collaboration with reporting and analytics experts in customer-facing roles. Previous experience in data architecture is a significant advantage for this role.
Currently, we hire directly into projects. This means we have ongoing recruitment, but before making an offer, we aim to find your first project based on discussions during the recruitment process. What we expect from you

Minimum of 5 years of experience in building data warehouses or modern data platforms

Strong proficiency with ETL/ELT tools (such as Azure Data Factory or Synapse)

Fluent in SQL and Python

Ability to take ownership of existing data pipeline solutions and independently maintain and further develop them

Capability in data modeling

Understanding of the cause-and-effect relationships in data management and how its various aspects connect to data platform work

Willingness to collaborate with others, develop skills, and share knowledge within teams

Consulting skills – especially communication skills and the ability to drive progress

Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English: our company language is English, but most of our client projects require Finnish proficiency

Salary development
At Gofore, we value fair compensation. Your salary will reflect your experience and skills while aligning with our commitment to being a great workplace and ensuring client-centricity.
Typical salaries for this role range from 5000-5500€ per month, with further opportunities for performance-based incentives.
