Account Executive – Security

We have established a leading position in the public sector by building strong relationships with organizations such as ministries, agencies, and cities. We also operate extensively in smart industries. In our security and defense sector business, public and private organizations naturally combine, for instance, through dual-use perspectives. 

Your work will focus on acquiring new clients in the security and defense sector and understanding their needs. You will systematically develop new relationships and lead sales activities that drive client growth. Key aspects include identifying the full potential of the client segment, networking with stakeholders, and leveraging experts effectively. You will work diligently to help clients succeed, though managerial responsibilities are not part of this position. 

Responsibilities 

  • Actively acquire new clients and maintain relationships 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans 

  • Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities 

  • Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery 

  • Build and expand your professional network

What we expect 

  • Experience in client acquisition and management in the security and defense sector, minimum of five years.

  • Strong networks within the security and defense field 

  • Proven sales expertise in consulting services and tailored solutions 

  • Understanding the unique aspects and security needs of the sector 

  • Ability to engage with people and discuss comfortably at executive levels 

  • Strong communication skills to simplify complex topics 

  • Systematic management and development of client relationships 

  • Willingness to learn and develop opportunities for Gofore 

  • Resilience in facing challenges and finding solutions 

  • Fluency in Finnish and English 

Compensation 

At Gofore, we value fair compensation. Your salary will reflect your experience and skills while aligning with our commitment to being a great workplace and ensuring client-centricity. Typical salaries for this role range from €6,000–€9,000 per month, with further opportunities for performance-based incentives.
