Within the Data & AI team, you’ll be concentrating in artificial intelligence and machine learning based projects, and also get opportunities in data and software development related topics. Right now, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled AI professional to join us!
We are seeking an AI professional whose main task is to create value for our customers in AI and data-related projects, such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and implementing and integrating AI models into various solutions. At Gofore, you’ll get to develop solutions that genuinely help people, utilizing machine learning and data analytics methods (e.g. natural language understanding, computer vision, forecasting, deep learning, data analysis, generative AI).
As an AI Engineer, you’ll work in customer-centric role and design how AI and machine learning methods can be applied in different situations. You’ll design and implement solutions and methods both as proof-of-concepts and for production use. You’ll build prototypes or more production-ready applications to solve business problems or apply advanced analytics, for example in data-driven decision-making. Our projects may include enhancing core business operations using generative AI agents, implementing quality assurance in production environments with computer vision-based solutions, detecting anomalies in dynamic environments based on IoT data, or developing solutions together with the customer from experimentation to production.
Currently, we hire directly into projects. This means we have ongoing recruitment, but before making an offer, we aim to find your first project based on discussions during the recruitment process. We believe this improves the employee experience, as we can offer a project immediately when you start at Gofore.
What we expect from you:

At least 3 years work experience in artificial intelligence, data science, and software development in a consulting role

Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Python or C#, and experience with other languages such as JavaScript

At least 2 years of experience working with Azure AI services and tools, as well as Azure data platform components in consulting projects

Proven track record and minimum 2 years of experience in AI solutions, such as classification problems, time series forecasting, image or audio processing/generation, and language model-based solutions

Demonstrated use of generative AI (e.g. GPT models, Sonnet/Opus models, Gemini models, Qwen models, Llama models) in consulting work for at least 2 years

Hands-on experience with software development practices, e.g. agile methodologies, Git, container environments, and microservices

Verified work experience with at least one cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Customer-oriented working style, great communication skills, and ability to drive progress in client environments

Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English: while our company language is English, most of our client projects require Finnish proficiency

At Gofore, we value fair compensation. Your salary will reflect your experience and skills while aligning with our commitment to being a great workplace and ensuring client-centricity.
Typical salaries for this role range from 4300-5000€ per month based on your experience and role, with further opportunities for performance-based incentives.
