Gofore has seven offices in Finland (Tampere, Helsinki, Turku, Lappeenranta, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Kajaani). You can work flexibly remotely or in a hybrid model, taking into account the needs of customer projects, and the work may also require travel within Finland.

What we expect from you

At least 5 years of work experience in developing data, reporting, and analytics

Solid expertise in Power BI and Azure environments

Good understanding of data visualization and high-quality reporting

Ability to understand users and define as well as implement reports and dashboards based on user needs

Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Azure Data Factory, etc.)

Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric

Good skills in DAX, M, and SQL

Familiarity with data models and data platforms, as well as understanding their structures and how they are built

Experience with integrations, data migrations, and APIs

Fluent Finnish and English language skills

Consulting skills—especially communication skills and the ability to drive progress

You are a people-oriented data and information professional who is at home in Power BI & Azure environments and quickly adopting Microsoft Fabric as well. You know data models and data platforms, as well as their structures, and understand what their construction requires both technically and content-wise.
You can identify end-users’ data needs even when users themselves cannot always describe them. You determine what data fulfills these needs, where to find it, and how to obtain it. You understand the lifecycle and versioning of data and their management, and hopefully have experience with DataOps or similar methodologies.
You know what constitutes good data visualization and high-quality reporting. You can create user-friendly and content-rich reports and dashboards that cater to users’ needs. You can build the metrics and calculations needed to make raw data understandable in different contexts.
Together with cloud infrastructure experts, you can build a secure and easily manageable reporting and visualization distribution system where users can easily find the information they need. You understand user management and data protection, as well as their impacts and requirements for data visibility in various situations. You know the capacity requirements of different implementation options and understand their infrastructure and cost impacts, enabling you to design cost-effective data utilization solutions. You can also analyze and monitor the functionality, usage, and performance of the overall system.
You can communicate with data engineers and platform developers and guide their work to produce a high-quality and efficient data foundation for reporting, data management, and data visualization. If necessary, you can roll up your sleeves and participate in data processing to meet data needs.
You communicate fluently in Finnish, English, DAX, SQL, and preferably also in Python and M.

At Gofore, we value fair compensation. Your salary will reflect your experience and skills while aligning with our commitment to being a great workplace and ensuring client-centricity.
Typical salaries for this role range from 4500-5500€ per month based on your experience and role, with further opportunities for performance-based incentives.
