We are looking for a Lead Service Owner for Red Teaming in Gofore Group’s Cybersecurity and Functional Safety service area. The role has end-to-end responsibility for defining, developing, and managing the Red Teaming service portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment with Gofore’s cybersecurity vision and business goals.

This position reports directly to the Head of Service Area, Cybersecurity & Functional Safety and collaborates closely with people leads, other Service Owners, business units, and regional leads across Finland, DACH, and Spain.

Lead Service Owner is accountable for the overall success of Gofore’s Red Teaming offering — from strategy and portfolio management to commercial performance and competence development.

The role requires a blend of strategic leadership, deep technical understanding, and solid stakeholder management to position Gofore as a trusted partner in offensive cybersecurity services.

Key Responsibilities

Service Ownership and Strategy

  • Define and maintain the Red Teaming service strategy, ensuring alignment with Gofore’s cybersecurity and business strategies.

  • Own the Red Teaming service lifecycle, including vision, roadmap, service models, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure service scalability and repeatability across different market segments (industry, public sector, defense, space).

  • Establish measurable objectives for service growth, profitability, and customer value delivery.

Offering and Business Development

  • Develop and maintain the Red Teaming offering portfolio, integrating with related cybersecurity services (Blue Teaming, Purple Teaming, Threat Intelligence, Governance, Risk & Compliance).

  • Drive commercial growth through close collaboration with sales, account management, and delivery teams.

  • Provide technical and business support in strategic sales cases and major customer engagements.

  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies relevant to offensive cybersecurity.

Quality Assurance & delivery support

  • Provide subject-matter leadership and guidance to Red Teaming leads and specialists.

  • Mentor senior consultants and foster a culture of professional growth, technical excellence, and collaboration.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and competence development of cybersecurity professionals.

  • Strengthen Red Teaming capability and collaboration across Gofore’s international units (Finland, DACH, Spain).

Governance and Reporting

  • Monitor and report on service performance, including key metrics such as revenue, utilization, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage service-related risks and ensure alignment with Gofore’s information security, compliance, and quality management frameworks.

  • Participate in service area leadership forums, contributing to strategic decision-making and cross-service alignment.

What we hope from you?

Professional Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in Red Teaming, penetration testing, or offensive security.

  • Proven track record in leading service or business development within cybersecurity.

  • Experience in managing or mentoring technical teams and subject-matter experts.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across organizational and geographical boundaries.

Technical Skills

  • In-depth understanding of Red Teaming frameworks, methodologies, and tools (including C2 frameworks, custom attack tools, automation).

  • Familiarity with key cybersecurity standards and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, TIBER-EU, HIPAA).

  • Ability to translate technical insights into business value and strategic recommendations.

Leadership and Personal Skills

  • Strategic and analytical mindset with strong decision-making capability.

  • Capability and willingness to act as a people leader

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance commercial, technical, and people-related priorities.

  • Fluent in English (Finnish and/or German/Spanish language skills considered a plus).
