We are now looking for experienced AI consultants with strong expertise in building customer-centric AI solutions and the ability to identify and understand business needs as part of impactful design and implementation – with the goal of delivering meaningful AI solutions for our clients.
As an AI Consultant at Gofore, you will work as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, helping clients identify opportunities to leverage AI within their operations. Your role involves clarifying current states, defining future objectives, and building strategies and operational models that support success in a rapidly changing world. You’ll contribute to the creation of AI strategies and roadmaps, guiding organisations towards AI-assisted work environments. Your work may encompass designing and implementing individual AI solutions as well as leading broader AI projects and initiatives.
What we expect from you:

A minimum of 10 years of consulting experience, particularly in demanding environments such as international organisations, large enterprises, or public sector projects. Your consulting background can be from client-facing roles or technology consulting.

At least 5 years of experience in AI projects, with roles such as AI consultant, data scientist, or AI architect. We particularly appreciate professionals who excel in advising senior leadership on matters related to data and AI.

Practical experience in designing and implementing AI solutions. You can assess business needs and design technically feasible, production-ready solutions. Your implementation experience may include design, specification, development, testing, version control, and deployment in production environments.

Understanding of software architectures and specification work. You can design architectures suitable for AI solutions (e.g., data flows, integrations, model deployment), contribute to specification documents, and engage in technical discussions with developers, architects, and other stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills across various stakeholders, including technical teams, business units, and executive leadership. You can present complex topics clearly and in a business-oriented manner to different audiences.

Experience in facilitation and project management such as experience as a scrum master, project manager, or leading workshops (e.g., design sprints, process workshops, roadmap planning). Familiarity with project management frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Prince2, or PMI, and relevant certifications (e.g., PSM, PMP, IPMA) is appreciated.

A self-directed and solution-focused approach—you drive work forward and consistently strive to find the best solutions for both clients and the team.
Beneficial experience:

Designing and implementing AI governance models, with knowledge of standards such as ISO 42001.

Experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure, but also AWS or Google Cloud Platform. Proficiency in AI and data platforms (e.g., Azure ML, SageMaker, Vertex AI) is a plus.

A deeper understanding of AI technologies and their development, including various model types, algorithms, MLOps practices, ethical considerations, and production deployment.

A sales-oriented mindset and experience in solution sales, such as identifying customer needs, preparing proposals, and presenting solutions to clients as a technical expert or sales support.

Industry experience in Gofore’s key sectors, such as the public sector, smart industry, health and well-being, security, and retail and services.

Salary development
At Gofore, we believe in fair total compensation for your work. Salary is influenced not only by experience and skills but also by our two values: active efforts to make Gofore a great workplace for everyone and considering the customer perspective in everything we do. In salary discussions with your supervisor, key factors include the feedback you receive, billing rate (as we are consultants!), and your professional development. We have various salary models, and in addition to the monthly salary, there are separate bonuses tied to the company’s success. Bonuses may relate to recruitment, sales, or increasing Gofore’s visibility. In this role, the salary is €5,500–8,000/month, which includes a fixed monthly salary and a billing-based supplement.
