As a consultant, you will be involved in delivering and leading our clients’ technology and systems transformation projects together with a team. Your responsibilities will include technology transformation strategy, change management, organizational development, project execution, and the holistic development of IT services or architectures.
The projects broadly cover the management of technology changes that support our clients’ business and organizational needs, including system migrations, cloud adoption, development of IT capabilities, renewal of service architectures, enhancement of organizations’ IT maturity, and management of technology investments.
You will work closely at the client interface and in a leading role within the client organization as a consultant, taking responsibility for the successful delivery of transformation projects, stakeholder management, and vendor management. The projects are highly diverse and vary in duration. Example of our customer’s project: Aidon cloud.

What we expect from you
You have several years of hands-on experience in leading technology and systems transformations and in IT consulting, for example in roles such as CIO, CTO, Head of Transformation, Project Manager, IT Architect, Consultant, or a comparable position. You may have worked in an internal IT organization, for an IT service provider, or in another consulting-focused company. Overall, your experience positions you among seasoned IT professionals.
To succeed in this role, you will need a deep understanding of IT strategy, change management, and common service management processes such as ITIL. You understand the business impact of technology and are able to translate technical expertise into business language. You are fluent in spoken and written Finnish, and your excellent leadership and communication skills enable effective collaboration with client management, teams, and other project stakeholders.
Your working style is strategic yet pragmatic; you are proactive, results-oriented, and capable of independently producing high-quality materials for our clients’ executive management. You pursue outcomes with determination, are willing to take on challenges, and are comfortable managing complex transformation initiatives.
Experience in IT governance and a strong understanding of the IT service provider market are considered an advantage. We also value expertise in areas such as cloud services, IAM solutions, Entra ID, cybersecurity solutions, and other core IT technologies. As our clients are primarily located in the Helsinki metropolitan area, occasional travel readiness is expected.
Salary development
For us it is important that Goforeans receive reasonable total compensation for their work. The compensation is the outcome of, not only experience and skills, but also active work for our two values: being a good workplace for everyone and considering customer perspective in everything we do. The feedback that you receive, your utilisation rate (we are consultants, after all!) and your own professional development are central in the salary discussions with your People Leader (i.e. supervisor).
The typical salary range for this role is EUR 5000–7000 per month, in addition to a bonus based on your monthly billing. The final salary level will be defined as discussions progress and we gain a more detailed understanding of your expertise. We also offer separate bonuses linked to the company’s success, which may relate to areas such as recruitment, sales, or increasing Gofore’s brand awareness.
