We are looking for experienced, business-driven architects to design, guide, and build our clients’ digital transformation. Our client projects and assignments are diverse and often long-term, giving you the opportunity to apply your expertise broadly while continuously learning new things.
As a digital transformation architect at Gofore, you will play a key role in the digitalization of societally significant business and service ecosystems. You will design and steer development work, enabling smooth interoperability between business processes and systems.
About the role
Geopolitical instability, cyber threats, challenges to security of supply, and tightening regulation are reshaping how organisations understand and manage security. Security is no longer a standalone function; it is a strategic capability intertwined with business, technology, and society.
We are looking for a Security Architect and Lead Consultant who wants to help build a new kind of security planning and management consulting — one where security is seen as a business enabler rather than merely a matter of compliance.
You will help our clients structure and embed security as part of their business, operating models, and decision-making, using systematic and structured approaches. Your work will focus on security architecture, preparedness, and security design, while also including enterprise architect responsibilities in high-security or business-critical information system environments. You understand solutions and organisations as part of a broader operating environment and comprehensive security landscape, and you are able to translate this understanding into practical architectures and systemic operating models.
In your role, you will also actively participate in Gofore’s sales and bid processes and, where possible, contribute to joint service development.

What we expect from you

At least five (5) years of experience in solution architecture and enterprise architecture roles

At least three (3) years of experience in the security domain, high-security or preparedness environments, or industries subject to security regulation

Strong, cross-disciplinary methodological expertise in project work, enterprise architecture, digitalisation and security leadership, and strategic development

A broad understanding of threat- and risk-based planning, as well as current threat landscapes across different industries

Versatile industry experience, preferably focused on one or more of our key customer sectors: commercial or service-based business, industry, security, wellbeing services, or public authorities

Knowledge of security-related regulation, frameworks, and standards, and potentially holding relevant certifications

Interest and readiness to engage in discussions on global security and cybersecurity megatrends

Customer-oriented mindset and readiness to adapt to the needs of customer projects, including where and how you work

Fluent Finnish and English language skills
Salary development
For us it is important that Goforeans receive reasonable total compensation for their work. The compensation is the outcome of, not only experience and skills, but also active work for our two values: being a good workplace for everyone and considering customer perspective in everything we do. The feedback that you receive, your utilisation rate (we are consultants, after all!) and your own professional development are central in the salary discussions with your People Leader (i.e. supervisor).
The typical salary range for this role is EUR 5000-6500 per month, in addition to a bonus based on your monthly billing. The final salary level will be defined as discussions progress and we gain a more detailed understanding of your expertise. We also offer separate bonuses linked to the company’s success, which may relate to areas such as recruitment, sales, or increasing Gofore’s brand awareness.
