We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our team for a variety of digital service development projects of different sizes, serving both the public and private sectors. There’s a wide range of projects to choose from, and the technologies used include Java, Node.js, TypeScript, React, React Native, Vue.js, Angular, C#, .NET, Python, AWS, and Azure. What matters most is that we find a project that genuinely interests you!
At the moment, we are hiring directly for a project. This means that we have ongoing recruitment, but before making an offer, we need to find your first project based on what we have discussed with you during the recruitment process. What we expect from you

At least 5 years of experience in application development using modern web technologies within the past 8 years

Technical expertise relevant to our customer projects, such as Java, Node.js, TypeScript, React, React Native, Vue.js, Angular, C#, .NET, Python, AWS, and Azure

Recent experience working as a Scrum Master in customer projects, with a total of at least 5 years in the role

Proven experience leading large development teams, typically consisting of 5–9 members or more

Ability to work as part of a large-scale project in a multi-vendor environment

Strong consulting skills, especially in communication and solution-oriented thinking

Fluency in Finnish, as most of our customer projects are conducted in Finnish

Recent certifications in agile methodologies are expected
As a Scrum Master in software development projects, you will be involved in project management throughout the entire lifecycle. You’ll work closely with the Product Owner, the development team, and the client—so strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role. You have experience working in large-scale projects involving multiple development teams, and you know how to navigate multi-vendor environments effectively.
Ideally, you are a hands-on Scrum Master with a background in coding, or you possess equivalent technical understanding that enables you to guide the team with insight into technology and architecture. Even if you’re not involved in daily development tasks, your technical background helps you support the team in technical discussions and decision-making.
You are a people-oriented enabler of smooth day-to-day work, with the ability and intuition to support your team and help solve challenges as they arise. You bring solid technical expertise and a proven track record in delivering software development projects. You are well-versed in agile project management frameworks, and in addition to project leadership, you also have an eye for high-quality code.
Above all, we value a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and share knowledge, enthusiasm for working with code, readiness to step outside your comfort zone when needed, and a genuine understanding of the importance and impact of digitalization. Salary development
At Gofore, work must be compensated with a proper overall remuneration. Your salary is influenced by your experience and skills, as well as two of our values: active efforts to ensure Gofore is a good workplace for everyone and considering the customer perspective in everything we do. In salary discussions with your supervisor, the key factors are the feedback you receive, your billing rate (after all, we are consultants!), and developing your skills. As a Scrum Master, your monthly salary is €4,500 – €5,500. In addition, Gofore offers various bonuses based on the company’s success, such as those related to recruitment, sales, or increasing Gofore’s visibility.
