Gofore’s growth story continues! We are looking for an experienced offensive security professional for challenging customer projects.

You will work in a wide range of customer projects, developing information security for critical infrastructure and public sector organisations, as well as intelligent industry and other private sector clients. 

Gofore has rapidly grown into one of Finland’s leading information security service providers. You will work alongside a diverse team of experts in both technical and administrative security, as well as with the broader community of Gofore’s digital service development professionals.

Our clients include some of the largest companies and organizations in Finland, such as: Aimo Park, Labkotec, Cardiff University, Digital and Population Data Services Agency, VR, Valtra.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced offensive security professional for demanding client assignments. The range of projects varies from security testing of web services to redteaming and to complex cyber threat intelligence operations. Curiosity to learn and a flexible attitude unite the people at Gofore, and your role can also include a wide variety of other information security tasks based on your skills and interests.

Additionally:

  • You can impact on what kind of assignments you wish to be involved in.

  • You may participate in project planning with clients and our team from the very beginning. If needed, you are comfortable taking on the lead consultant role in a project. 

  • You enjoy working with clients and providing consultation on best practices, but you also like to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with the assignments.

  • You are happy to share your knowledge with others and support our technical information security consultants at different stages of their careers.

  • If you wish, you can also take part in pre-sales and tender work.

What we expect from you

You have several years of experience in information security, and offensive security is your core expertise. In addition, any other experience and competence in information security are considered as advantage. Your experience may come from roles such as technical security specialist, security champion, software developer or architect. You have worked with various organizations, systems, and environments and have a good understanding of best security practices. Furthermore, you take an independent and proactive approach to work, have high ethical standards, and possess strong communication skills.

Ideally, you also have multiple industry certifications, such as OSCP, OSWE, OSWA, OSEP, OSCE, or CISSP. A higher education degree is considered as advantage

Please note that due to the nature of our customer projects, we require our applicants to be EU citizens and fluent in both Finnish and English. The chosen applicant may also be required to undergo security clearance by the Finnish Security Intelligence Service as required by the client.

The feedback that you receive, your utilisation rate (we are consultants, after all!) and your own professional development are central in the salary discussions with your People Leader. In addition to the monthly salary, we have separate bonuses linked with the company’s success.
