Group Executive Team
The Board of Directors elects the company’s CEO. The CEO manages and develops the company’s business operations and is in charge of its operative management in accordance with the instructions issued by the Board. The CEO reports to the Board. The CEO manages the company’s current executive matters in accordance with the Board’s instructions and is responsible for ensuring that the company’s accounts adhere to the law and that financial management is reliable.
Executive team assists the CEO in developing and administering operations. The Board of Directors nominates the executive team.
MIKAEL NYLUND
CEO, STUD. OF TECH., BORN 1975
Mikael Nylund has served as CEO of the company since December 2019. Previously Nylund acted as the director responsible for mergers and acquisitions of the company in 2019 and for the company’s management consulting services business during 2016–2019. Previously Nylund also acted as Business Manager for IT management specialist services in the Company during 2012-2015 and as Senior Consultant during 2010–2011. Nylund previously acted as Technology Manager at Enfo Oyj during 2005–2010 and as Technology Director at Capnova Oy during 2001–2005 and as an entrepreneur specialised in IT services during 1998–2001. Nylund has also acted as member of the Board at Capnova Oy during 2008–2018.
TEPPO TALVINKO
CFO, MSC ECONOMICS, BORN 1966
Teppo Talvinko has acted as the company’s CFO since 2020. He has previously acted as the CFO at Nurminen Logistics Plc during 2018–2019, at Maintpartner Suomi Oy during 2014–2018, at Ixonos Oyj during 2013–2014, at FCG Finnish Consulting Group Ltd during 2009–2013 and at SITA Finland Oy during 2005–2009. Talvinko served as member of the Board at Nurminen Logistics Services Oy and RW Logistics Oy during 2018–2020 as well as in Nurminen Maritime Latvia SIA and Nurminen Maritime UAB during 2019–2020
VILLE HURNONEN

Ville Hurnonen has acted as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at the company since 2021 and as Chief Information Officer since 2023. Prior to this, Hurnonen has acted as CEO of Netwheels Oy during 2013–2021, as Business Solutions Architect at Appelsiini Finland Oy during 2012–2013, as Director of Cloud Services at Elisa Plc during 2010–2012, as Director at Enfo Plc during 2006–2009 and as CEO of Capnova Oy during 2000–2005. Hurnonen has been working at Binary Design Agency Oy since 2019.

DIRECTOR, BRAND, OFFERING & SUSTAINABILITY, MSc (ECON), BORN 1976
Auli Packalén has acted as Director of Brand, Offering and Sustainability at the company since 2023. Previously she has held various positions at CCEA Oy, a company acquired by Gofore in 2021: member of the leadership team in 2010–2023, Head of the Change Capability business in 2021–2023, Chief of Brand and Offering in 2019–2023, Principal Consultant and Marketing Director in 2016–2019, and Development and Marketing Director and Senior Consultant in 2010–2016. Prior to this, she worked at the communications agency Compositor Oy as Operative Director in 2009–2010, Communications Manager in 2002–2008 and Communications Officer in 2001–2002. Packalén has been the Chairperson of the Board at Aromtech Oy in 2019–2022 and deputy member of the Board since 2022. She has been member of the Board at Lapinnova Oy since 2004 and member of the Board of TIEKE Finnish Information Society Development Centre since 2024.
ELJA KIRJAVAINEN

Elja Kirjavainen has headed up the company’s business in Finland as of January 2025. He has been the director of Gofore’s consultancy services since 2020, and the Group CEO’s substitute since 2022. Previously he has acted as Senior Vice President at Capgemini SE in the Business Platforms unit during 2016–2017, as Senior Vice President in the Offshore Services Europe unit during 2013–2016, as Senior Vice President in the Application Services Nordics unit during 2011–2013, as Vice President in the Sales Director Finland unit during 2007–2011 and as Director of the Public Sector Finland unit during 2004–2007. Kirjavainen has acted as member of the Board in EMK Invest Oy since 2017. Previously, Kirjavainen acted as member of the Board at Eigenvalue Oy during 2004–2017.
SANNA HILDÉN

Sanna Hildén has been Director of People and Culture at the company since 2021. Prior to this, she worked in the service of the company in the position of Senior Management Consultant during 2019–2020. Hildén has acted as member of the Board at Freia Oy since 2020. Previously Hildén has acted as member of the Board at Välke Oy during 2018–2020.
KALLE MÄKI

Kalle Mäki has acted as General Counsel of the company since January 2021. Previously, he acted in the service of the company as a Legal Counsel during 2018–2020. Prior to this, Mäki worked as Senior Associate at Roschier Attorneys Ltd during 2017–2018, at SOK Corporation as Senior Legal Counsel in 2017 and as Legal Counsel during 2014–2016, as well as at Bird & Bird Attorneys Ltd as an Associate during 2012–2013.
MARC FUCHS
DIRECTOR, DACH BUSINESS, PHD, BORN 1973
Marc Fuchs has acted as Director of Gofore’s business in the DACH area, i.e. German-speaking Europe, at the company since 2024. Prior to joining Gofore, Fuchs acted as Member of the Executive Management Team and as Head of Industries Automotive and Manufacturing at Randstad Digital Germany AG during 2022-2023. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President and Account Executive of BMW at NTT Data Deutschland GmbH during 2014-2022. Fuchs has also worked at Capgemini, heading sales and aftersales in Germany and automotive business in Germany, USA and China during 2011-2014.
